I noticed one of the boots has perished on the track rod end ball so I have purchased two off Ebay for £14.00 they are made by Topran, I have not fitted one yet but I am questioning the quality of them as they are so cheep has anyone used them.

 

I have looked for the genuine Skoda track rod end part but can not find any.

 

Can anyone recommend a very good make of track rod end for my 1998 Felicia there seems to be so many makes to choose from.

Topran = China in Western packaging.

I recommend SKF products.

Having no luck finding a SKF the SKF site do not list any track rod ends, with so many other makes listed are there any others in the UK that are OK to use.

Assuming your car has PS, MOOG / Federal-Mogul will do too. It's part number K150083.

Enjoy. It is a car model that deserves the best given its age and reliability. The only new car I would buy would be a Skoda Felicia made by Czechs today without VW interference whatsoever. Sadly that can't happen, otherwise VW Polo and VW Golf sales would sink.
