Can anyone tell me how to remove the radio antenna on the roof of the 2008 Fabia 2 Estate without having to remove the headlining?

Remove the two side panels at the rear, few torx bits will do it. You'll see two pop clips on the roof lining that will just pull down with a little force.

 

from then you can pull the rubber seal away and it will pull down enough to get access, was around a 22mm spanner I think.

Just realised it might be worth mentioning that the reason I didn't want to interfere with the headlining on the Fabia 2 was that I intended to keep the base and add a Shark Fin antenna on the top.
