Headlamp deflectors for Europe driving.

Featured Replies

Turning the lights lower, with the adjustment that corrects for weight, will indeed somewhat reduce the dazzle to oncoming traffic.

However, I'm thinking:

  • you'll have a very close area lit up, and no appreciable lighting where YOU need it
  • it doesn't stop the beam "kicking up" at the left (so you'll need to go very low), and
  • if you're on holiday to France, as the original poster says, you may well have quite a load on board, and after adjusting for that will have not much adjustment left to bring the lights down.

Somewhere in the foregoing is a helpful foto from eurolites of where precisely to put their deflectors. It's remarkably similar to the Superb positioning in their brochure and indeed diagram 150c in their fallback suggestions.

As the originator of the query, I want to thank Eurolites for the courtesy , helpfulness and promptness of their reply.

I also want to give Skoda Ireland a thumbs down for suggesting, in total ignorance, that there was a lever !!?

on the dashboard of the basic 1.4 tsi 123 bhp that could achieve the same euro beam deflection!
