Having moved from a Yeti to a Superb I looked for insurance. My existing company wanted £100 more for the new car. Got a quote from the Caravan club £100 less than I was paying for the yeti. So I cancelled Direct line and started and paid for a new policy with the club. A week into the policy they wanted proof of NCD. No problem sent them that. then they wanted proof of previouse insurance with the new car. I called them to be told they want proof of thier own quote ! When I put the ref number into the quote sytem is says "invalid number".

They then said the prmium will be another £200 ! because I cant prove thier own qoute . I ended up paying £100 more than thier quote . So be warned if you get a quote from them ,print it off  so you can send it to them.

Never trust anything verbally over the phone - get it in writing
