Thinking of buying one and want to know if they play well with Columbus.

Can I send text messages (and have received read to me ) with voice like I can with my windows phone?

Any other information that would be pertinent is gratefully received

 

I'd be very surprised if it did not work. Pretty much all new phones are compatible and the z2 play obviously hasn't been out for long.

(It is a very good phone by the way!)

I know it's not the same phone but I have a Galaxy S8+ and my wife has the One Plus 3T both paired and all works as they should and the age of the phone puts them on par with the Z2

Not sure about reading texts as I don't bother with that, but for phone calls, radio apps and podcast apps all ok through the system.

I did manage to find someone with a z2 force (£720) and that has an app called "auto" I believe, which does talk texts out and allow replies.

I didn't see how to initiate one but that's not as important.
