Hey! Greetings from Finland. I'm new on this forum and I wanted to show my dear Octavia. I before owned Seat Leon 1.6 2005 but that was quite a dull car so I was looking some little bit more powerful and ended up for this Octavia VRS mk1 2002. I bought it from Sweden only 168 000 km driven for very good price. At first meeting I loved for that power and sound. It was almost stock and in very good shape.

Here it is as I bought it:

Next I bored for badges so I changed front grill to badgeless version which I painted black and insert new VRS-badge on it. I fixed left headlight washer too. I also changed read badge and VRS-emblem. Also taillights are tinted:

At interior I have changed speakers and stereo head unit:

Here some pics from the fall too:

Rear windows are tinted and I have removed the aerial.

Next plans:

- Exhaust is very loud homemade version, but I just ordered new Simons exhaust which I will install soon.

- Lower it a bit, but that shall wait for next summer because winter and snow is coming.

- Tape the roof to black.
- Maybe new rims.

Finally installed new Simmons exhaust! Sounds, looks and runs way better than previous do-it-your-self-model. Also changed timing belt too. IMG_20171020_235751.thumb.gif.3d2bae69af6e5313d3ed3a844ace7d3f.gif

First snow snowed here yesterday, so I probably must change tires soon. Now I have non-studded wintertires waiting at garage, but I'm considering buying studded ones cause all the snow and ice here.

Hello again! After long and cold winter it's summer and couldnt be more happier about it!

Mods done now: fitted new black vrs logo at back. I just love that ass! Also polished the whole car.20180603_174652-1032x774.thumb.jpg.1c7581dd9c85fe5dcc3f3547c1e54a6c.jpg

At interior I have fitted new vrs badges, installed new window-aerial and changed new Pioneer bluetooth headunit and Gas midbass-speakers. Also did some sounddeadening to all doors. Definitely sounds better!!20180603_174600-1032x774.thumb.jpg.a1a83a4b203b8545fd3e2a308e12db37.jpg

For winter I bought Vw Golf Gti 16" wheels and studded Bf Goodrich tires. I think that's pretty good setup at winter. 20171026_174040-816x612.jpg.8f60b5b381dc69676004571f7286a013.jpg

I have had a bit tehnical issues during this time. Flywheel and slave cylinder needed to be changed when the clutch didnt work no more. Also cleaned the maf and changed broken n75 valve. Bit of expensive repairs but now it's about 180 000km done and so far I'm still very happy to own this thing! Now it's showing ars and abs warning lights all the time, even though they work normally. That's the next thing to do.

Before I considered to buy new wheels but when I put the new vrs wheel caps I think those look just fine! I have also thought to lower it a bit but here roads may be at bad shape and we have snowy winters so maybe that's not clever.

Here's couple more pics of my baby.
