Felicia 1996 1.3 fuel pump

Featured Replies

Hi. I was hoping someone might know what the part number for the fuel pump on my car would be? My Felicia is currently dead in a car park and the motor factors cant tell from the reg what i need. They asked for the chasis number but that drew a blank as well. I checked the fuse and relay and the pump makes a noise when i turn the ignition on but doesnt pump as far as i can tell. Any decent online suppliers?  The ones i tried just come up with an error code. Slightly panicking here guys. The car park is miles from home and not secure....

That could be due to a clogged fuel filter equally. It's good practice to change the fuel filter too anyway.

Thanks Nige and ricardo..ordered the part..hope i can fit it and get her home..will check the filter ( not sure where it is..is it the carbon cannister on the bulkhead?

The filter is #5 in the diagram I linked, and it's under the car by the rear axle beam, and that's why it's often overlooked when it comes to servicing

Parts finally arrived. Not the whole unit just swirl pot with pump in. Went down to get old one this morning and i cant get old one out..was expecting to release it from top and pull/ wiggle it out but this us in two parts and the lower part seems fixed in the tank..anyone know if its screwed in or clipped? Up to my armpits in petrol here in a car park...
