Skoda Service Plan

Featured Replies

Anyone opted for the service plan offered by the dealers? Got a 65 plate diesel VRS that’s just had its free second service and they’ve offered a service plan. Next 3 services (minor, major, minor) plus 2 MOT’s for £591.84 or £19 a month for 30 months. Not sure if good value for money and what it covers. Going to phone tomorrow and ask for discount but thought I’d see if anyone else has gone for it.

Well the skoda website shows differet pricing for their own fixed price scheme.

Although I would ask exactly what your offer included as the skoda own one does not include mot (£39 according to skoda) brake fluid change (£54) and other bits as it may be the maintenance plan.  It's all in the same area of the link above.

Minor service is £159 and major £279. So on the face of it, it looks like you get 2 free MOTs and a £2 discount on each service compared to paying as you go. Presumably it covers you against possible future price increases on the next 3 services too.

Not terrible but doesn't really provide any major incentives to go for it either in my opinion.
