does anyone know if the fancy pants DCC suspension system on the L&K has drop links?

 

our mk2 skoda wore through its drop links (pillow shaped speed bumps galore where we live) and now in our 6 mo old 7000mile mk3 has the same kind of slight knocking on bumps and potholes. it's not terribly noticeable at the moment but having had it before its definitely the noise that started with our mk2.

 

also, any idea if this is a warranty part, bit of me suspects no...?
