Vrs Fabia Leather Question!

Featured Replies

Hi Guys!

The Question is does anyone know who the offical leather trim supplier is for the fabia Vrs ??

I'm Totally confused now that iv'e seen the OE leather seats fitted at my local main dealers, they really do look the nuts :D they look top quality.

I know they cost

It's made by a company beginning with T, I was told but cleanly forgot. Would remember if I saw it again though.

Edit - found it - http://www.transcal.co.uk/

That's who I was told had the contract by SeatSurgeons

Cheers Stu,

I wonder if anyone has approched them?? might give them a ring tomorrow.

Hows your retrim doing since having it fitted, I will say Seat surgeons seem very tempting, unfortunatly its alway hard to see the quality in pictures!

yours or anyone elses views would be gratefull.

Just want to get it spot on, the vrs is being built next week and I want to sort the leather out one way or another!:D

Cheers

Jas

I'm not a million miles from you if you fancy a ride to the seaside for a look or I think i'll be going to weston.

I'm happy with it but it might not hurt to shop around.

I've seen Shiftys seats, and Skoda genuine. I have to say I prefer the type of leather in the Skoda ones, and also the design.

I'm sure SeatSurgeons can do any design you want, but I'm not sure if they offer different types of leather.

However, the quality of stitching in both looks comparable. My only comment would be that I've seen pics of 2 peoples Seat Surgeons trim that looks to have sagged ever so slightly. I know that they are more than happy to sort any problems that may emerge, but at a 400 mile round trip for me I'm not sure I want to take that risk.

Really must get around to calling them.

Something I thought about the other day at my dealers. The leather looks spot on but what about the car mats? I mean the std ones have a white outline. But nothing in white in the car. Wont it looks odd?

The piping on the mats are grey........................... aren't they?

Hi

In answer to earlier question Seat surgeons do provide a choice of leather.

Just had mine fitted in Nappa leather, balck with grey centre panels. Nappa leather is softer and thicker than the normal leather and not so deeply grained.

Only had them done on Thursday but initial impressons are very good, quality of fit is spot on.

Stitching done in black not contrast and they look very OEM.

Impressed with service from Seat Surgeons they really look after you.

Can you specify heated seats with the leather? as the leather can be retro fitted after purchase could the heated option be fitted alongside the leather install?
