No, what I actually did was:

I was a little bit bored yesterday after taking day off and spending it at my mate's unit, and then finding my CV bits were not forthcoming, so had nowt to do. :(

Started fiddling in the engine bay, noticed coolant was ever so slightly low so got that topped up, checked the oil level, and then when I whipped off the oil cap, the whole funnel type affair came off as well. :eek:

My mate then noticed the cap and it could be separated and the cap would simply go back down on the block, leaving the funnel as an unnecessary part. It also gives the whole block a more "flush" appearance with the oil cap being only 1cm off the engine, not about 6cm in the air. Obviously those who still have their engine covers on, should NOT do this unless you want to remove your cover everytime you top up the oil. :D But for myself, who can't use an engine cover anyway, its a 15 gram weight saving! :cool::rofl::o

I pulled that off last time I topped up the oil, Though it broken the rocker cover :eek:
