As it was reported already it is not an investigation of the 'Price fixing of diesel' the fuel.

  it was of the technology / parts for Diesel Vehicles. 

The parts required for the engines, hardware, software, Emission reduction, Tanks, DPFs, SCR Systems , tank sizes etc.

German Manufacturers in Germany run EU, whats the worst that can happen to them?

 

Not like they were selling them in the Australia, USA, China, South Korea etc and might have been breaking all kinds of laws!

 

Doh, they were. 

No worries then, just many CEO's, Board Members and senior management might be doing less travelling out of Continental Europe, 

and certainly not to the USA.

I should imagine anything that strengthens the euro is a worry for German exports.
