Simply Clever things- facelift vRS

Featured Replies

Hey, does anyone know if the boot organiser and reversible floor come with the the vRS or not? I can't find out anywhere and i'd quite like them when the car is delivered. I understand the vRS DOES come with floor mats as standard.

I'm pretty sure several things have been added on the online configurer since I ordered it 3 weeks ago anyway, so who knows whats standard or not!

Quite many topics about equipment for Škodas in UK. Are the dealers really so confused?

I had only two meetings with my dealer, and even on the first meeting we had 100% clarified what I am getting with my car. Of course they didn't know from their head everything, but they were looking into data and found everything we were looking for. On the forum I see many people who already placed an order and have no idea what are they getting. From my perspective awful lot of money not to be hundred percent sure.

Completely agree. In škoda’s defence. The website does say “all cars ordered now will be to week 4x specification and the website reflects week 2x” or something. However, the DEALERS should know! When I specced alcantara they asked if I wanted alcantara or full leather. Leather wasn’t even an option for me up until that point!

You can't get leather (or can you?)

My 245 came with a standard floor, pretty sure the spare wheel side is bare board. I'm not entirely sure what the boot organiser is, but pretty sure I haven't got it. The cubbys behind the rear wheels have plastic dividers sectioning them off, not as good as the closed compartments on the O2 VRS in my opinion.

Well if we can't tell from the website and literature, the dealers will only have better info from the cars they've seen, which isn't that many yet on the FL.

yeah you can get leather now. The dealer specifically asked me if it was Alcantara or full leather I wanted and i said "Alcantara, identical to the 245 i've just test driven, but with grey stitch". I've also seen the leather seats on the reviews of the Face-lift on YouTube, so it's out there!

Thanks for the info, I'll have to ask them to add those accessories on to my order next time I speak to them.

The boot area hasn't bothered me. I just want a 245 that I can start playing with, I am mainly pleased at the colour changing LEDs in the door trims.

I just like to keep my cars immaculate. admittedly this is pretty tricky when they're both daily drivers and carry a 3 year old and bikes!

if its not standard i'll probably just got to carmats4u. Not paying £75+ for one!

Hmmm still not on the configurator but if the dealer said so it must be true (ROFL)

Here is the image on google and here is the article (the reference to the leather seats is in the 2015 230 part of the review, but as they asked me if I wanted it on my 2017 it must be still available....

I'm sure I've seen it in Youtube vids too, but i've watched so many i doubt id find it again!

RS245 is pretty fixed with it's basic trim, as it was with RS230. Not likely that you will be able to change anything from original setup, only to add.

I wonder why would anyone change alcantara for a leather. I wish I had it instead, material is miles ahead natural leather.
