A quick go at converting 9.8 tons of CO2 per 15k miles into g/km gave me 414. So official figure is around 15 % worse than the figure we calculated from your mpg. Seems you were driving quite economically! .

Length of vehicles adds to congestion and takes up space parking and roads,

ie 2 citigo with just a driver in take up the same space as a Superb sitting with just the driver in in central London, heavier vehicles use more fuel also cost more to even those that do not have cars as tax payers pay for roads, road works, repairs etc.
