Back to VAG with Octavia Estate vRS

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Big fan of the VAG brand. I jumped to the other side with Honda for 5 years.

Previous owner of the following:-

Leon FR PD150 (P-Torque remapped etc..)

Leon Cupra R 225 (APR, REVO remapped etc..)

Audi A3 Sports (OEM)

Loved the Cupra FR & R. Audi disappointed me so jumped to Honda Civics.

New job requires me to have an estate so said goodbye to Honda and bought a 2016 vRS diesel. Car is lovely! Petrol-head so had to overcome the diesel factor but really happy with my new car. It has lane assist, Amundsen system, zenons, roofbars. I am slightly annoyed at myself for not paying more attention to the SmartLink system at the time of buying - I saw the icon so presumed it was on the car and ready to go. Now I realise it is there but not active. £135 to activate. Eek.

I have however bought the OBDeleven so will see what it can do......

Hi all from Rochdale,

Chris

Car is booked in on Wednesday for the SmartLink activation.

£136 down but I need to mess with Android and VAG combo.

Really enjoying the car. It is a serious step up from my previous 2012 Honda Civic EX GT.

Hi there, welcome!.  Definitely a big step up from the Civic and probably a lot more comfortable too
