Featured Replies

Im looking at selling my tdi owned from new in 2014 to a 2018 tsi 245.

Anyoneone else gone diesel to petrol vrs. Any regrets??

Not done it personally, but I don't think you'll have any regrets. Have you checked if you can get a 245? In another topic someone was told there's no more production.

I went from a MKIII Tdi Vrs to a MK III 230 Petrol Vrs, no regrets at all.

i've got a 245 on order from a mk3 tdi vrs. no idea when i'll actually get the car as i'm being told Feb.

depends on what types of journeys you do too.

my jobs changed so i go through heavy traffic often now and it just doesn't make sense for me. The only reason i went for a  245 was because it was "cheap" and i missed out on the 1.4L se tech deal by a few hours haha

Just...

Been told I wont get until may, but thats fine as my car will be 4 years old then so ready for a swop, the 245 is on the 2 year lease deal which seams too good not to take up!!

Result! The only thing you might miss is the fuel economy of the diesel, though it's actually still rather decent. Everything else about the petrol VRS is better than the diesel. I do 16k a year in my petrol, but the fuel economy is nowhere near bad enough to want diesel instead. Given that you're leasing, I'm assuming you won't be doing silly miles, so go for it and you won't regret! B)
