Ive just had a missed call from Skoda UK.

The update is that the service chap I spoke to on the desk is on annual leave until Monday so they will speak to him then and update me on Tuesday.

Im not sure what exactly it has to do with the service desk chap as surely it cant be him that authorizes warranty work ??

Skoda themselves authorises Warranty work, any work carried out without autherisation will not be paid for by Skoda, Parts or labour.   :shake:

So what has it got to do with the service bloke then ? I thought each garage had someone that covered warranty stuff.

That will be their gadgy then, or the one they use to put customers off.

There are Warranty Managers with most Dealership Groups and with Skoda.

Mushrooms.

Keep customers in the dark, shovel with ****e.  Mantra.

I've just asked the customer service girl the same thing. Apparently he has all the information. I told her that he didn't even look at the issues but sent the work shop manager out and it was him I showed the issues too.

I'm going to go further if I don't get a satisfactory resolution as I feel that the are taking the **** now.

Update......
Ive just had a call from skoda UK and the news isnt good

The lady Ive been dealing with has spoken with the dealer yesterday and they have said the following:

Wheel corrosion : Caused by stone chips, no change on their stance with not covered under warranty.

Centre caps: Skoda UK have basically told them to change these.

Seat Stitching....... Well after telling me for the past two services they will monitor it they have changed their tone now and said its been caused by "External factors" The girl at Skoda UK wasn't happy about this as they had told me they will monitor it so have basically led me on.

I told her that "External Factors" was a throw away comment and why couldn't they substantiate it with proof. I said that if it was in a wear and tear area then I would agree but it isn't. Its the different parts of the seat coming apart due to failed stitching.

She said that my only option is to take it to another dealer fro them to look at, however if they say the same then the case will be closed.

I feel totally let down to be honest, car isn't even two years old and they interior looks awful. There is an obvious defect but no one wants to admit it.

I feel like sitting outside the dealer on Saturday with a sign or even contacting auto express etc.

Any ideas what I can do ??

Skoda CS are doign me proud at the moment, 1st dealer told me couldn't replicate fault so did nothing, i got on twitter and tweeted a video of me replicating fault CS spoke to different dealer, who rang me back, unlike the 1st dealer i went to, a courtesy car was arranged CS has rang after each step to make sure things are being done, fingers crossed this dealer sorts my problems, they certainly sound like they are gonna have a dam good go, booked my car in for 2/3 DAYS unlike 1st dealer who had it for less than 4 hours .

update is, i seem to have 3 tec guys on my side and one not, Skoda uk are gonna check who is telling me the truth about if paperwork has be logged when fault with door locks was replicated, another tec guy has asked me to video faults when they happen, so i have, so the tec guy who has worked on my car is gonna have to admit there is a problem. Skoda UK are defo on the ball for me and are going to ring me back next week with an update

if you ask Skoda UK to call you at a specific time so you don't miss the call, they do
