When I connected a trailer on mine, it disabled the eco mode but I think the stop-start was still operational.

Today I forgot to immediately turn off the Stop / Start like I always do and was very surprised to find it kicked in and stopped the engine at my first stop only 1.6 miles from setting off when the ambient temperature was a mere 3.5 degrees.

 

The engine was obviously pretty cold and I just can’t understand the crazy logic.
