Is deactivation of electric tailgate when using towbar possible via vcds?

I often use a bike rack with no electric connection/lights and every time i'm scared of me or my kids accidentally touching the opening button next to gear lever.

 

unless you disable the switch permanently, the car doesn't know you have the bike rack on the car. unless there is something attached to the lights plug, the button will work.

 

you can disable the switch with trailer attached (with VCDS) but youll need a dummy plug to put in the 13 pin socket.
