Can anyone give me some advice, are you able to buy the button/switch for the interior light as in the picture attached.  It's missing ad I require a new one, I've checked on ebay and replacement units all seem to be the lighter colour which wouldn't go with the interior and Skoda tell me that they don't sell the buttons individually and that I would have to buy a complete unit at 56 quid odd.

Anyone know anywhere where I can just purchase the button for a reasonable price.

 

Have you tried a VW dealer to see if they do the same part? They may provide buttons where Skoda do not! Might be harder to fit then you think though. 

try searching ebay for sellers who are breaking the cars. It's the same interior light as the mk1 fabia vrs theres a lot of them on ebay
