Hi guys,

Two weeks the thought of changing my old banger hadn’t crossed my mind but I’m now the proud owner of a 2015 Octavia 2.0 TSI VRS S-A Estate in white..!!

First impression, I love it.  Unfortunately, the wife, who has no interest whatsoever in cars, has also fallen in love with it and taken it out twice today..

Our young Granddaughters were intrigued that it has a Granny button (Eco) and a Granddad button (shouldn’t have to explain which one that is!).

Surprised to find that when telling people, ‘I’ve bought a Skoda’, no one has so far laughed or cracked a Skoda joke.  Obviously, the message has got through…

Great site by the way, I have a few questions already but they can wait for another day.  

 

Welcome along .  The days of the Skoda jokes are long gone, in fact some younger drivers are not even aware that Skoda didn't always make great cars.  I love the 'Granny' and 'Grandad' button!!

Thanks for the welcome guys.  Wife had the car out again tonight and we had our first row over it as she didn't appreciate being reminded to fold the mirrors in when she parked it, not to kerb the alloys, be careful when choosing a parking space etc.  She's so unreasonable..
