This is Santosh from Bangalore, India. Glad to be a part of this forum. I am driving the 2017 facelift Skoda Rapid Monte Carlo edition, purchased in Oct 2017. I have been in awe if the dsg tech and fell in love the moment I test drove the car. 

 

By profession, I am a technical architect for AI technology and work on End user services. Looking forward to interacting with fellow members here and get educated on Skoda.

Ahh OK, I've never seen that before 

Our Indian friends are keen on decorative additions to their Vehicles. Think of an Hawaiian shirt and then add some. Seen Trucks on the Mumbai to Pune Highway with a letterbox for forward visibility because of decorations hanging from the roof.

I think the Rapid is built in the same factory in India as the Polo, been to a couple of their suppliers out there.

They are operational already. Just not inaugurated.

A warm welcome Santosh!  Sadly I only spent 20 minutes in India, refuelling at Calcutta Airport.  I'd love to visit properly as my mother was born in Madras.  Not sure of all the new names?

I would suggest you to stay with Tafe for service aswell. Much better than Vinayak
