Just thought I'd share with you the news regarding the absent Octy vRS.

Insurance paid out for a brand new car as it was only 3 months old and SHMBO picked it up on Saturday (then drove like a maniac).

Just got in from work and there is a message on the answering machine from the police asking us to ring them urgently.

Guess what?

The Octy is alive and well and has been living in (shock horror) Liverpool!!!!!!

Police are currently giving it a nice silver coat of fingerprint dust then no doubt it will be sold on by the insurance company.

Forensics guy knew exactly who they were and where live but they just need the evidence - needless to say they wore surgical gloves so no finger prints in the house.

basically 1- House broken into 2- keys found 3- drive away
