My chipped to 225 Octavia VRS occasionally cuts nearly all power when going up gentle hills. A small amount of power remains, enough to limp along to the nearest layby, whereby turning it off and restarting it cures the problem. It's not neccesarily when I'm giving it some special loving either.

Anybody help?

Where did you get the map done? Going into limp mode is generally classed as a 'bad thing'.

do a search on here, it's been covered a lot. I had a boost drop once, but it's not happended since.
