Wheel options on SE Model

Featured Replies

The SE version offers two choices of wheel style at no extra cost. Which one do you prefer and why?

I prefer the look of the first, but the second would be easier to clean.

As you would hopefully spend more time admiring your new car than you would cleaning the wheels I would go with the first.

But then again in my case the second match the wheels on my caravan.

Why are choices so difficult?

I prefer the top set as they have more detail to them.

I prefer the top ones.

Similar on my car and they are easy enough to clean but oddly stay cleaner than other wheels i have had even on winter roads.

(Best thing, 16"ones  with balloon tyres and no kerbing worries anyway.)

top ones

Top ones to look at, bottom ones to look after.

Top one for me

Top ones for me. Bit more detail to them.

Aren't the top ones the wheels the SE Tech comes with as standard?

Both options shown are standard, no cost options,

but you opt for which you want when ordering, top ones or bottom.

Yeah on the SE. On the SE Tech it comes with the the top ones (Triton) as standard, no option for bottom ones.

Sorry missed the Tech bit.

Correct. Standard on the Tech, £0.00 option on the SE.

I noticed that we ordered Triton but it has arrived with the other type Ratikon. I have been pondering whether it is worth worrying about and have concluded that it is.

Resolved already, the Tritons will be fitted shortly.

BTW it is shod with Bridgestone tyres, not Michelins, which pleases me as I find the latter very poor in the wet once half-worn.

Had similar to both on Yeti, prefer first but second much easier to clean. Personal preference.

Standard on the Tech, no cost option in the SE. We ordered the fancy ones, got given the plain ones in error, but it’s being rectified.

1,200 miles in, the TD engine is loosening up nicely and we remain thrilled with the Karoq.

What Car just posted a review of the SE-model with Triton alloys. They actually look rather nice, and the base-trim looks tidy also.

Mmmmmmmmmmm an interesting one is this.I was pleased to select illustration 2 (Ratikon) and I have been well pleased with my decision. The choice is one for the individual though in practical terms the Ratikon style was chosen by me on the grounds of easy maintenance, and true enough they are SO easy to clean compared to the other option illustrated.I got sick to death washing my previous cars multi spoke alloys together with the Miriad of brush sizes needed.

Picking up our SE-L tomorrow. We had a choice of either Mitikas or Braga wheels as a no cost option on SE-L spec. Went for the Braga (Top most Pic). We saw both in-the-flesh and prefered the Braga. Also ordered the spare wheel option and heated seats.

Top ones (Triton), never liked the 5-spokes.
