Bluetooth audio not working

Featured Replies

I have been trying to get my stereo to play BT for a while now but just cant get it to play. I have a columbus and the Bluetooth icon is grayed out in media.

On the MFD the phone option doesn't have Bluetooth options, neither does it show phone status. I have a samsung s7 and have tried it with a iphone 7s too.

When I bought the car the seller showed me his phone working and it showed up on the MFD with signal bars and carier.

My bluetooth unit is:

model name: UHV CAN FSE 2P8X

Model No. BE9450

HW: 1Z0035729E H40

SW:1Z0035729E 0190

Does this unit allow BT streaming?

No it doesn't.

So will a 9W7 7p6035730c work with the columbus?

Should be okay I think, but I'm no expert on Bluetooth kits really. I only know your existing one doesn't do Bluetooth streaming as it's the same as mine, and mine doesn't.

Seems we have the 9w3 model that doesn't support A2DP.

I might look out for a used 9w7 model.

Here's a useful webpage explaining the different units.
