Could anyone tell me if there should be a light in the glovebox? My grandfather is saying there should be its a 66 plate.

There is in my VRS yes.

 

I’ve replaced it with an LED variant

 

Not sure about lower spec models, but surely they do

SE L has a glove-box light.

2015 Elegance has a glove box light.

My 2013 1.6tdi SE has one

My 2014 vRS also has one
