Green cotton air filter

Featured Replies

Anyone use green panel filter. Want to change it on 1.2 tsi before a remap. I already have the cleaning kit for the green as opposed to other brands such as K&N or piper cross.

Do you mean does anyone use them, as in a review or could anyone do with one, as in I have one here if you are interested?

Yep I mean is there any reason not use one on the fabia, is a different manufacturer more suitable?  People don’t seem to mention green filters whereas commonplace with Subarus.

See the thread / posts on this page on the Air Intake off a vRS.

Use a good clean filter for about £16 a time.

Performance filters are OK, when clean, or when you need ones to keep out H2o.

Dirty ones or badly re-treated are a right PITTA sometimes.

Intake would be more than my requirements! In terms of compatibility and as I haven’t seen one,  is the VRS airbox same or different to 1.2 tsi?

I've changed the intake on my tsi, needs a bit of modding to work but its not that hard
