Any Fabia Vrs owners in N.Ireland???

Featured Replies

Hi hoping to get my Fabia Vrs this Friday 3/3/06 and am wondering how many others there are in Northern Ireland (North Down area). Mine is going to be completly standard for the meantime but will make a few mods as time goes by. Firstly I have a few questions.

1) Where is the best place to get a Re-map?

2) Where can I get a PD160 air intake for a reasonable price?

3) Is there any one stop shop where I can get mods done?

I would appreciate if anyone has a knowledge of places in N.Ireland that they can share it with me.

Cheers

hi by the way

Yep, im in Bangor mate, just got an 06 myself from Petersons, Everything Lisburn said seems about right, if you want an all out remap go across the water but if your looking something around a safe enough 170+ remap, then there is currently talk of a group buy on another forum by a company in Ballymena IIRC its called OBD, let me know if your interested, they have done plenty of remaps and all good reports so far and your talking approx £200 for the remap.

Oh and welcome

P.s. Lisburn did the pm reply from Hellfire explain things any better on the dieselgeek?

nope TBH , gonna remove battery/airbox later on in the week n investigate , see if i can fit part of the golf mechanism to the Gbox n refit the SS, dont think i can tho , i scratched my head the last time n even jim@dieselgeek said he had never seen a box like that b4 , weird one

There seems to be a few Fabia RS up North, I have a few usernames if your interested.

Btw I've sent you a PM

Lads,

Keep an eye on http://www.briskoda.net/forums/irish-skoda-meets/

Unfortunately there didn't seem to be too many NI people interested in going to the karting this weekend (apart from the usual suspects). Its a good way to put faces to names. The more people that make the effort, the better they will be and in turn the more people that will turn up.

Don't be afraid to suggest something, there's a good few guys registered from NI, wheather they check in regularly or not is another thing :(

hi. and welcome m8. not seen 2 many fabia vrs in ni. i got a revo for my octy tdi. dave in kells might b able take it higher than 170bhp. did m8's bora 2 177bhp. :D cheers and dont forget try an get 2 some meets.

Thanks to you all for replying to me so fast. Mike VRS, i'm from Bangor also so its a small world, eh? I've actually ordered mine from Petersons also and im really happy with the deal I got. Just thought I would change the Fiesta Flame and walked into Petersons on the off chance (thinking about a diesel). I test drove the dealers Fabia VRS and fell in love with it straight away(ordered 2days later). I am definately interested in a re-map once the engine has been run in so anymore details give me a shout.

Cheers to GAFF as I got ur PM (making a few alterations now). Now its just a matter of playing the waiting game until the car arrives. God I actually feel like a kid waiting up on Xmas eve for Santa 2bring my prezzies. How sad :)

P.S All keep in touch and keep me posted of any meets or tuning/mods craic you may have

Cheers
