Window stuck

Featured Replies

Evening all,

I was defrosting my car in the usual way, and my car was steaming up a tad so I decided to open both passenger and drivers window a crack. Except the passengers went all the ways down and moves up maybe a few inches from the bottom but won’t even come up even with some brute force, is there a easy fix just to get it shut I’m not bothered if it is broken I just want it shut

cheers, alex

Clips on the window mech will have failed. The wires in the inside will look like they've been bombarded on the Somme.

Brute force and wiggling to get it to come back up if it will. It must come up anyway, the free it from the clips and tracks.

J.
