Hi, I have just had my timing belt and water pump changed the other day was just wanting to check I never got ripped off, I looked under the bonet the belt seems new you can see the white print and marks on it they haven't been worn off yet, is there anyway I can see the water pump it should have been replaced aswell? 

@Joshdav - Sorry mate, they're only golden, not crystal. Seriously, there are several different TDi engines, with different architectures, and on at least one of them you need to take the timing belt cover off before the water pump is even visible.
