i have an octavia II 2008 tsi 1.8.

when i open door, the interior light (both front and rear) do not work. 

The strange is that the light turn on in manual mode and i can see in instrument cluster the red light of open door.

 

is there any idea what is wrong?

Have you got the 3 way switch set in the 'door entry' mode?

Yes , I do.

Door module give it a whack near door handle sometimes switch gets stuck if that fails you have to replace it.
