Rear suspension

Featured Replies

Hi does anyone no whats the most common bush to fail on the rear as my rear wheel has scrubbed off on the inside cheers

Is it not possibly needing a good 4 wheel alignment to adjust tracking along with castor and camber angle on the back

Good question but its finding someone who no's what there doing with the machines to get 4 wheel alignment done thanks

Many had issues with the inside of the rear tyres scrubbing and sawtoothing. Skoda brought out revised geometry settings a while back.

We had the issue on the VRS and got a local specialist with Hunter Kit to do a 4 wheel alignment. It's been fine since.

The problem a have is finding someone with that kind of machine who no's what they r doing with it.

Alignment will go out but convince yourself it's been done at least once. However a pothole later it could be out again. Killing a set of decent tyres just as painful, when alignment cost a lot anything from 40-80 reasonable. But some places charge an awful lot.
