Best place for vrs parts?

Featured Replies

Hi All,

new to Skoda ownership. Just got a high mile winter wagon, mk2 vrs estate to keep my beloved Elise 160 off the Highland roads a bit more this winter and lug loads around. Love this little car, what a cracking drive. Well tidy interior, very supportive seats and great handling for an estate. Just need to look at replacing brake discs n pads soon. Any good suppliers out there? Any recommendations for discs and pad combos? Fast road driving, well I do live in the Highlands!! Thanks

Hi, good choice of car!

For customisation I would look at superskoda but for parts probably Eurocarparts.

You can get good deals from Eurocarparts, at the minute there is a 35% discount code available. I bought Brembo discs and pads for mine but others like Pagid so between those two I would think.

Fitted Pagid disks and pads all round on my VRS. They have been great.

Also consider getting a set of steel wheels (I have some. PM if interested) and winter tyres for the winter. They make a massive difference.

+1 for the Pagid discs and pads got mine from https://www.carparts4less.co.uk/, and they come with silver coating for anticorrosion, make sure to get the correct diameter discs as there are different sizes available.

@FatblokeVRS: Do the steel wheels help with comfort/ride etc as the lead weight neptunes are really heavy?

Many thanks for the info and advice guys.

Rear discs require the carrier to come off and they r a pig to access without ramps! They also use a special Tri square bit, cant recall the size though sorry
