There was a program a few nights ago showing him racing at Donnington in the year 2000 on a GP 500cc bike, in the wet, and coming from half way down the pack.  Fantastic on so many levels.

 

Only the knee flick on Marquez which pushed him off (even though MM can be a reckless annoyance), possibly the very hard pass on Gibenau one year at the last corner to win the race, blemish his near faultless commitment to the top level of motorcycle racing for over two decades, when one includes 125 and 250 championship too.

Agreed he is some rider especially in the wet.  Wish he would swap with jonny rea in suoerbikes to see what happened there.
