Hi I'm looking to replace my CV joints & have found some genuine meyle ones on ebay but the seller states that they don't come with the ABS rings. Are the rings re-usable or do I need a different type of CV joint? Cheers.

ABS magnetic strip is in the wheel-bearing/hub assembly. The plastic dust covers for these are what the seller is thinking of, I expect, as they fit on the end of the CV joint.

Literally a pound or two for genuine replacements if reqd.

Part is item 10A here, I think.

Many thanks for that. I thought they might have had a metal ring with lots of little holes like modern bikes. Cheers for the link.
