start/stop not working?

I've ready the manual and it's saying that if the button is lit then it's deactivated so I've not got it activated. The manual say once stopped take out of gear and release the clutch, which I do but nothing happens lol

 

 

If you haven't got it activated then it's not going to work. What exactly is the condition of the light and the button when you first turn the engine on? Is the light lit, or is it not lit?

It's not lit which means it's activated

Did you ever get this sorted?

Mine didn't work for months because I had the C/C set to windscreen. Switched it to AUTO AC, and start stop began working.

Thanks camelspyyder. Don't think that is my problem, beginning to think it is a battery issue

Yes it was the battery, Skoda replaced it and it works but not alot really.
