Hi hope I can get some answers, right I have a Octavia diesel vrs mk2 facelift model and I keep letting faults popping up on the cash the worst is workshop fault light which puts car in limp mode. 

Might be worth adding where you are, a local member can probably do an autoscan with VCDS which might give you some clues

Seems to be staying on workshop fault now with flashing glow plug light.

Might be worth popping to a garage to get it scanned there? An EPC light can mean many things so without getting it scanned it's going to be hard to guess the fault.

 

Might be worth looking into Carista, that should be able to read fault codes and is much cheaper than genuine VCDS.
