briskoda like forums?

Featured Replies

Hi all, briskoda is a great English spoken forum for Škoda owners. As some of you know I am full time YouTuber and I make car reviews. I am also Octavia 3 owner, and I dont't relly like to spam topics with my videos if they aren't related to the topic. No one likes that... But I trie to help here with informative videos and give back to the community.

As I am traying to grow more audience on my channel. I am looking for similar quality forums like briskoda, but for other car brands.

So if you can link some in the comments that would be a big help. Thanks! :)

Link to my channel is in signature if someone missed it.

uk-mkivs.net is a great forum/resource for VW's (Golf Mk4 upwards, Bora etc), I helped maintain/develop it up to a few years ago.

A great resource for Golf info - I was on there for a good few years when I had my Jazz Blue Mark IV Golf GTi. Still got my Peoples Choice trophy that I won at our first MegaMeet - that brings back memories - business trips to Liverpool and Meeting up with Tabs for an Evening :D

Got to say this is one of the most professional looking and nicest forums ive been on!

Some of them just decline into fighting and bitching, but this def isn't the case here :)

Bimmerpost is massive for anything BMW related and is broken down into models and then various regions. BabyBMW seems popular too for 1/2 series stuff.

Audi-sport.net for Audi stuff.

Agree with comments this seems to be a more friendly/helpful forum than some others I've been on.

Yeah some of the BMW forums aren’t great (Bimmerfest for example) as you get a lot of self righteous w4nkrs on there...or what a lot of people would call typical BMW drivers. It’s also mostly North American.

Quite niche, but forum.bmw5.co.uk is very good and has a good crowd, but obviously quite limited as it’s mainly just 5 series related.

Briskoda is defiitely one of the best out there, hence I still stick my oar in here haha.

I've recently drifted across from the Kuga Owners Club http://www.kugaownersclub.co.uk/forum/ where I've been for the past five years. Very similar to Briskoda, very helpful and really well run.

Probably a bit out of date for modern cars, but www.Vectra-c.com is pretty good if you still have a Vectra or Signum.

I did say it was probably out-of-date for you :) you never know though there might be some other folk who find the info useful - and they do have an Insignia and Sport tourer section which are a lot more current.

Great Audi forum. Got there introduced my self, started some conversations and shared 3 of my videos to related topics and today went back to see the discusion. Got banned for "spamming"! :(

How is spamming if you post to related topic and discus it? Shame! I wrot them an email.

In fairness to them, your interest is at least partly 'commercial' as you want to promote your channel. 3 videos posted and  similar started chats in a short time from a new person with a commercial youtube channel would tigger my interest on the forum I moderate (not car related). I think I'd have emailed and asked your intentions rather than a straight ban but I do sort-of understand their views.

Yeah but no warning? No nothing just ban is shame! I create videos for peopole who are interested in cars. Posted here many reviews in related topics, newer a problem. So I don't understand there politics. Seams bit harsh to me...
