Missing text

Featured Replies

Has anyone noticed the text service missing when you are connected via Bluetooth.

The in car system used to display text when you hit menu/phone. I could read and reply to the text using the on screen keyboard

Now there is no button for text when you press menu/phone

This happen to anyone else.

Don't know if this is of any help since my own phone is an iphone. In the bluetooth settings of your phone, under the my devices setting look at the information details of the car you are connected to and make sure the " show notifications" setting is enabled. Wait a few seconds and the text service/menu should reappear on your car's display. The same thing happened to my mate yesterday after he had done a reset on his phone.

I'll try that in the morning and keep you posted.

Thanks for the quick response.

depends on the phone, the permissions, and the supported bluetooth profiles. One of my phones shows SMS as an option, the other doesn't,
