Help with broken Key

Featured Replies

Is it just the actual blade part? Is the 'hinge' still in the key? The blade is held in with a tiny cylindrical pin (which the arrow is pointing to, actually). It happened to my mams fabia key (pin fell out and was lost) and I bought a replacement pin on eBay and managed to fix it back together

Hi No it's the actual metal part pointed to in the picture (not his actual key), the pin is still in place but because a piece has broken off this metal part the blade falls out !

Not clear from the picture but if it's part of the blade that has sheered off and you can reconnect with the existing, or a new pin, then an autolocksmith should be able to cut you a new blade.  No recoding or similar required.
