My 190 DSG 4X4 has DSG at top part of the gear sick face with the  L&K script underneath but it doesn't have 4×4 shown any where except on the outside tailgate  of the car

ur right - once again i've come in too hot and not read a post properly.

my bad.

The old adage of read twice answer once. Happens to me as well.

Gents,  this is also something I am prone to do on occasion. My biggest problem though is predictive text on phones. I believe it to be a common software fault, much like the Macrosift Spill Chucker I have on my PC.

Bloody Ausie's come over here with their Fosters and Holdens and make ripples on our forums :D

They wouldn't tolerate this at Bathurst!

Nice looking car JR. What's this Tech and Comfort Pack thingy?

basically for the Oz market - we can't choose indiviual item/options.  the car comes with a majority of things standard.  if its not standard, then its in a pack.

we can add these "packs" to the build.  each pack contains multiple items.

the disadvantage is that if u want just one thing in particular, you'll have to cough up money that will get u other options that u might not necessarily want to have, but are forced to have as a side effect!!

with the Superbs, we have:-

  1. Image Pack
    - Phoenix Anthracite 19"
    - KESSY & Alarm
    - Driving Modes
    - Sports Suspension
    - 3-spoke leather steering wheel
    - LED interior ambient lighting

  2. Tech Pack
    - Image Pack (minus Sports Suspension)
    - ACC + Driving Modes
    - Lane Assist
    - Side Assist
    - Traffic Jam Assist
    - Emergency Assist
    - Rear Traffic Alert
    - Parking Assist
    - Virtual Pedal
    - Canton sound system (12 speakers)

  3. Comfort Pack
    - Leather Seats
    - Electric front passenger seat + control from the rear
    - Front Ventilated seats
    - Front and Rear heated seats

If u have an L&K, u should have the logo......SKODA-Superb-Interior-LaK-05.thumb.jpg.81b12a765accddd3aa2440030c234b4f.jpg

That's how mine is (2016 MY 280 4x4), Although the buttons either side of the gear selector are reversed, the ones below the gear selector are the same  :)

As others have said, it looks like it was changed for MY18 (my MY17 has the logo as in the picture above). Just out of interest I specced an L&K on the UK configurator. This is what it shows (blown up, so picture degraded somewhat). No logo.

Edit to add: sorry @The Wanderer - just noticed you had already posted the same thing earlier in the thread. Doh!

Just buy a new top cap for the gear stick -

Sorry to divert from the title, but I noticed something else interesting in that picture from the configurator. No "ESC off" button. Do the MY18 L&Ks still have it? If so, it may be the configurator is wrong about the logo too.

I also noticed that same thing and I always thought there were certain driving situations when it was advantageous to disable the esc.

Can't believe they would drop that! From memory it was standard on MY17 190PS or higher, but not 150. Paging @Martin201 or other new L&K owners 190PS+. Do you have the sixth button on the surround, as shown in JR RS's post above. I configured the same car as I have (190PS TDI) which is what the picture in my post is from. I then did it again for a 280PS TSI - again no ESC off button. Have they perhaps moved it?

Yup, MY18 cars still have ESC off.

My SE Business does not have a ESC button... you have to go into the menus to disable it... (manual gearbox )

So we can't rely too much on the configurator picture for confirmation of the DSG lever by the look of it...

Sorry - should have said I was thinking about the DSG variant rather than manual. Though I still don't understand why it would be different between the two.

Here’s a photo of my 18 L&K 280, I’m perfectly happy as it is. To me personally it strikes the right balance and maybe later I might even remove the badges from the wings, haven’t decided yet.

this image is from a LHD car.

hence the drive selection labels being on the left side of the gear stick, and the centre console buttons reversed ;)
