Hey everyone. 

Just wondering. I have a 2010 scout and confused if it has DRLs. In the brochure I downloaded from here they are an optional extra with the rain sensor wipers, auto dipping mirror and light assist (I think as they come on when it's dark on locking and unlocking the car) but I can't seem to get the DRLs working or tell of there even there. Any help is appreciated 

Do you have front fog lights? It was either or with the scout, either front fogs or drls not both. If your front fogs are LED then they are supposed to be set as drls 

Send a photo of the front view of your car and you will get the information.

It has fogs but they just look like normal ones to me

That's a fog light. 

 

The DRL's are 4 LED's. 

 

You can get the fog light coded to act as a DRL, but I'm not sure if that means you will lose them as a fog light and/or the cornering function, which I really like.

Not sure about the facelift coding but I have my prefacelift coded to use the fog lights as drls at reduced intensity and can still use them as normal fog lights and cornering lights when headlights are on.

How do you get them coded?

Google VCDS and have a look on YouTube. If you don't know anyone with the equipment, have a look at the section with a list of VCDS owners and their locations, and see if there is someone near you that is  happy to code it for you. 

Oh right kewl will do.. anyone know what the colour of the scout Is? I need to buy a touch up pencil and not sure how to find out the official shade

Yes it's the same on a FL Scout  ;-)
