Hi there, have problem with inner joint, vibration on gas pedal when accelerating, strange sounds sometimes. Have to further investigate but pretty sure that joint next to transmission is a problem.

There are few options, to change only outer with SKF or to change drive shaft with new one. SKF is around 100 euros ( 90 pounds) while GKN is twice of that.

Do you have experience, SKF is famous manufacturer but is it better choice to look for GKN ( Lobro)?

 

SKF should be fine although they're not as good as they used to be.

GEnuine one is about 500 pounds that is insane...

 

One thing is also strange, looked for inner CV joint here

this is GKN online catalogue, but can't find Inner CV joint for Fabia 1.9sdi 2003.

Only outer joint and complete shaft.
