Dashboard errors and no power steering

Featured Replies

Twice in about 3 months I have had multiple dashboard errors and no power steering, stop start, tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control errors are the ones I can remember eventually got the power steering on and took it for a spin which in turn got the errors off anyone else had this fault!

My money is on the battery being on it's way out

Forgot to add replace key fob battery was the last message on the dash! Not had any problems starting up.

The clue re battery is quite often the "electric" power steering failing a self test.

Usually first signs of failure are on a very cold morning

It’s happened twice after parking up for a short period when the engine is still warm now a mates car has done the same tonight and he replaced the battery about 8 months ago but his car had been parked up on the path overnight.

Getting work done tomorrow will have the battery checked thanks for the replies

I would also check the ground connections around the engine bay.

The fact it is intermittant & shows a lof of different errors for the power steering & braking system would suggest a power supply problem to me.
