orange bonnet arm holder

Featured Replies

Evening all.  The little plastic bit in the engine bay that holds the metal bonnet 'holding' rod - I'm sure this has a proper name... anyway, ours broke just now whilst adding screen wash, and there is no way to keep the bonnet up (if you want to use both hands!)

Anyone know where I can get one from please?

Thanks -

I had to buy a new one when I got my car :D

Skoda list it for under two quid...    1U0823570A      is their part number.

Of course, you might save money having it posted unless you live near a dealer.

I had to replace mine and it was as about £1.50 from the main dealer.

Yes, i think its a common fault...replaced this on herself's Octavia some years ago....

Thanks again all -  plastic widget arrived today and slotted in. All working perfectly again.   I got ''done' by the sound of it though... I paid £3 for mine!
