Availability of the 1.4TSI

Featured Replies

I have had a E series Merc for the last six years from new and it’s been incredibly reliable. Dealers have also been very good, though the glass scratches when a leaf falls in Siberia. I had six Audi before that as company cars and had constant issues with dealer over charging. Going to Skoda now as the wife had a Yeti with zero issues, great build quality for four years and was impressed with her replacement Kodiaq so much that I decided to go the same route.

  • Wait a few weeks for the new 1.5 engine to come on the spec.

  • I've ordered today. They have got some stock but not a huge amount, 1.4 orders are definitely closed and they orders for the new MY19 haven't yet opened.

  • My dealer was not best pleased yesterday to learn of this yesterday. They had been quoted build dates last week for new 1.4s of week 21.
