Having bought a Mk2 Superb with two of the rear light cluster grommets missing and one of the 2 remaining ones broken, I sought a solution.

I bought some rubber grommets from Halfords which fit perfectly.

They are Membrane Grommets 8 mm and 13 mm, code HFX214, price £1.99. They are actually better than the original ones.

Are we talking about these caps?

 

If so the genuine ones are extremely fragile and very expensive from Skoda, I'm sure they're around £5 each!

I lost one and enquired about buying one, thinking 50p or a £1. £6 something was the parts price.

Yes they are the ones in your photos.

The Halfords grommets are much cheaper and also better.

That's why someone before me had siliconed them back in  

I concur, the originals are complete rubbish.
