Specification Checker

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if Skoda have a specification checker site, similar to the Ford Etis software, where the built spec can be checked using the VIN?

I got excited when it let me register for free, didn't get far though :D

For a handful of Euros you can download your full car data via the Vehicle-specific Info tab, then under the Individual Vehicle Info tab you can download pretty much any repair/maintenance info you like about any model you like, plus as many SSPs as you might find interesting.  It's a real bargain TBH.

Browse around and work out what you want to download before you start your hour, then get downloading once you've paid.

Thanks for all the replies chaps. 1 hour access should do fine. I've bought a new Kodiak Edition and really want to know if it has been specced with an electric supplemental heater to heat up the cabin on very cold mornings. I had one in a diesel Mondeo and it was a welcome addition.

Just to let you know, I got the full spec sheet from Skoda and my Kodiaq Edition Diesel 190 Bhp does indeed have an electric supplemental heater fitted as standard.

Was this standard, or was it a cost option?

I wasn't even aware it was available as an option in the UK... but then colmar51 doesn't have a location specified so he (or she) could be anywhere.

Just to clarify - I'm a he, I live in Glasgow and the weather up here is proper baltic at present, the supplemental heater wasn't an option. Apparently it's a standard feature. In Nordic countries I think the Webasto style heater (fuel driven) is far more common. In my experience the operation of the electric heater is quite subtle. Initially I didn't believe my Mondeo example was working until I stuck a temperature probe into one of the dashboard air vents and watched the temperature climb.

I only collected the Kodiaq two days ago so it's a bit previous to say how efficient this heater is. I'll let you know as soon as.

Where do I enter the VIN number???

Once you've registered you'll see the screen pictured above. You then select the flat rate you want (I took 1 hour only then printed the complete spec). Once you've done that another screen appears with a box where you enter the VIN

Thank you.

Doesn't work.

Tried 3 different credit cards, two of them with NOTHING on them, so its their system that's at fault.

I don't know if it'll make any difference but I used a Visa debit card and I had no problem.

Mine were 'MasterCard and Visa credit cards, I will try a MasterCard debit card and report back in a few mins.........................
