Great riding from this relative new comer to BSB, future British WSB, MotoGP champ?

Love oulton park, should have gone today as only 40 miles away from me.  Do a bit in the garden then watch a race or two. Nice BH for a change. Who needs Spanish weather!

On Quest now until 6 pm,

Saturday 18th BSB Live. Qualifying Race at Cadwell Park.

Had a great day at Cadwell Park today. Never had the pleasure of a grid walk before and got to meet this guy between race 1 and 2 - top bloke and HUGE gonads!

Really enjoyed my first trip to watch BSB and hope to go back soon.

Looking like Mr Haslam's year in BSB though the shootout can have riders go from 6th to 1st quite quick.

Being a Yam fan I want Brooks to do well but was not to be.

In supersport the R6 is so dominant.

Need a class like we have in WSS300 for 400 Ninjas,  Yam R3, KTM 390s to biuld interest through the smaller classes and get more young ones hooked on it IMO.

Haven't watched bikes there since the '83 Transatlantic. Kenny Roberts, Eddie Lawson and co on evil 500 strokers. Wow! Roberts Yamaha was just amazing out of Old Hall.

Camelspyder - you have PM.

Surprised to see this parked outside the office when I left work yesterday.

Dixon on pole (and by some margin!) and Haslam starting at the back for Race 1; this Championship is not over yet!

Fantastic day at Oulton Park; double win for Jake Dixon in difficult conditions (especially the first race):

Anyone see the highlights of the Oulton Park round on ITV? During the interview of Jake Dixon on the grid prior to Race 1 did you see Brimma hanging around in the background?

First it was Leon Haslam off to World Superbikes, and now Jake Dixon is off to Moto2. With Shakey Byrne unlikely to be fit for 2019 who are going to be the BSB superstars next year? Bradley Ray (as mentioned at the top of this thread) appears to be inconsistent (not sure if that is the bike or Bradley) but might he fill the void?

The Irvin brothers?

And no I'm not sure about "Sideshow Brad" either.

So Leon Haslam wraps up the title and Jake Dixon finishes 2nd; no surprises there but it sounds like a great weekend of racing at Brands so looking forward to the highlights programme.

Already looking forward to 2019; Lee Hardy has announced that Ryan Vickers, runaway Superstock 600 Champion this year, will be replacing Jake Dixon on the Royal Air Force Regular and Reserves Kawasaki in BSB. Need to get my name on the list for some tickets!

BSB season starting this weekend and weather looking peachy.

Got VIP tickets so see what that entails as not had that before.  Be interesting to see how Scott Redding does after being in MotoGP for several seasons.

Has Scott got a Panigale V4?

Hope it's not as fast as the works one.

Which I see Kawasaki have been publicly complaining about a lot, indeed proposing doing a 500-off MotoGP type bike for 2020 WSBK themselves.

Wouldn't have expected them to be crybabies like this after having it all there own way for what 6 years now?

Thoroughly enjoyed today's races, no doubt the debrief in the McAms bus was tense! Yamahas on top - didn't see that coming. Great to see Ryan Vickers achieve 2 points scoring finishes in his first BSB races, and the commentators mentioning what a huge step up it is from 600cc Superstock to 1000cc Superbike. Looking forward to Oulton Park. Need to sort myself out some tickets.

Good for Yams in 600 cc and 1000 cc super-bikes, not so good in the Junior where the KTMs and Ninja 400 were dominant and R3s well behind.

Interesting how different BSB is to WSB in terms of the bikes.

Moto3 and other support races impressive.
